What type of ventilation system do you use?

That arctan formula would also work in the opposite direction - find the optimal layer height for a given inclination angle and pixel width. For example, you could print the cube in an "isometric" orientation (one vertex at the bottom, opposite vertex at the top, all faces inclined at the same 54.736 degrees. For a 51um pixel size, the ideal layer height would be tan(54.736)*0.051 which is 0.072. That should give you a cube where all surfaces have the same "perfect" finish. I'm not familiar with resin printing, so I don't know if that is a reasonable layer height. If not, then integer multiples (2x, 3x, 4x) and unit fractions (/2, /3, /4) of that value should also be pretty good at reducing artifacts. So 0.036 may also work

hello, I just got a secondhand Mars 2 and I have updated the firmware (to the best of my knowledge) and I have chitubox v2.1 and I am using some brand new flash drives and no matter what I do I continue to get "unknown file format" can anyone assist please?

So if printing a action figure... Print angle doesn't matter? Only for flat surfaces?

Only thing that I don't like about this PTFE is the fact that it is one of the "forever chemicals" found everywhere.

I like this theory and my compliments for your explanation. However, I think in practise this will only matter at slight tilts w.r.t. horizontal. And when applying this theory, you will need to calculate the optimal angle very accuratly or you will get a small number of very ugly (rather large steps) lines. I think it is better to make a large than a tiny angular error here. At larger tilt angles, (as far as my experience goes) flat surfaces will usually have no issues, so no reason to do the math there.

The reason this works is because the PTFE lubricant leaves a coating of Teflon behind on the surface of whatever it dries on. You really should just wipe and leave it for a few hours. The solvent that keeps the Teflon liquid evaporates, leaving behind a thin film coating of non-stick plastic.

this formula works for square pixel size, what happens when you have rectangular pixel size, like for example the Saturn 3?

Nice video. What would the Anycubic Photon Mono M5s Pro be. XY Resolution is 16.8X24.8um? I think its arctan(0.02/0.0248) = 38.884. Sound right?

Where did you locate the pixel length of ".051" for a spec.? I can't verify that information from Anacubic.

For others out there that just want to calculate the layer height given an angle the formula is tan(perfect angle)*(resolution). Or in excel =TAN(RADIANS(Angle))*Resolution.

I've used the gloved finger on the back. Works 99% of the time.

Do not see firmware page just the V1.95 download. I get the unknown File Format error with the Creality LD 002R which is suposidly supported, so I have to revert to V1.6

is there a way to move all the supports if they get shifted from their original positions? if the new tank had a portruding cannon all the supports would be moved over

You can just use the tank clean function to get any print failures out

I've been trying to get this method working for hours... finally a bit of success! Only problem is, you need Lychee Slicer Pro version. If the supports don't contact with the model, select + delete all the bracings, and then select supports by type and change the penetration depth to force contact.

by far the best PTFE i've found is technicqll 100% dry PTFE concentrate. I'm not even joking, the PEP or ACF films are pristine after large prints. But be careful, it's a highly concentrated powder, it might contaminate the resin, but i didn't have any issues so far.
